Want to know what a leading digital global consultancy thinks are going to be the hottest tech trends this year? Our Techie Brekkie on 28 March will be a discussion about Deloitte’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) predictions for 2017.
Tech trends and predictions
Hosted by the ever-entertaining Paul Lee (pictured left) the predictions are based on 12 months of research and hundreds of conversations with industry executives and tens of thousands of online interviews with members of the public around the world. They present Deloitte’s view of the major trends that are likely to have significant impacts on companies, regulation and business models in the medium to long term.
This year the predictions explore the state of 5G, the development of biometrics in authentication processes and the impact indoor precision navigation may have on the TMT industry and the broader marketplace.
Further predictions include the much talked about developments in mobile machine learning, how DDos attacks are entering the terabit era, and the safety concerns of driverless vehicles.
Ask the questions your business needs to know
The talk should highlight some fascination insights on how Deloitte’s trends and predictions may affect your business or yourself as an individual, and take a look at the effect they will have on your business models, or your regulatory framework. It will also be a great chance to get answers to what’s happening in your tech field and help debunk misleading tech myths.
