Wouldn’t it be great if at the start of planning your future career you could meet up and have a chat with potential employers to get a feel for the type of work they are offering and to see whether it is for you? Or to get your hands on and play with the brand new tech and digital creations they are developing that you could be involved with making or improving in the future?
We here at TechSPARK think so, and that’s why this October we are looking to bring together people looking to start a career in digital tech with some of the biggest tech names in the Bristol and Bath region in what will be the area’s biggest student and graduate recruitment event – The SPARK Skills Festival.
Connecting talent to tech jobs
With JUST EAT already signed up, and several other big names about to sign on the dotted line, this is the place to be to get the lowdown on the tech and creative jobs out there right now, and to show off your own tech and creative skills.
There will be a big choice of who to approach, with 40 top digital tech firms showing off what they do in the exhibitor’s area, demos of the latest cutting-edge innovations, including VR, gaming and robotics, coming out of the South West and talks from the major employers on how to stand out from the crowd when applying for jobs.
This will be a one-stop-shop for connecting amazing companies to the best emerging digital tech talent – you need to get involved!
Want to attend? Register for free on the SPARK Skills Festival Eventbrite page. We are also looking out for more employers to get involved and people to sponsor this to make it as successful as possible. Interested? Please get in contact with us at skillsfest@techspark.co.
