Want to know what a leading digital global consultancy thinks are going to be the hottest tech trends this year? Our Techie Brekkie on 18 March at Bristol and Bath Science Park will be a discussion about Deloitte’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) predictions for 2016.

Tech trends and predictions

tlt-predictions-graphic-vr-cognitive-techBased on a year of research, including surveys of tens of thousands of individuals and interviews with key industry executives, the predictions include the future of getting more women into IT, how eSports is both bigger and smaller than you think and how cognitive technologies could hugely enhance enterprise software.

Further predictions include the much talked about developments in virtual reality – could this be a billion dollar niche? Meanwhile, researchers talk about Graphene – but what is it and how could it reap spectacular rewards for smart technology in decades to come?

Check out Deloitte’s tech predictions in this quick overview below:

He has published numerous columns for the Financial Times, as well as several books. Prior to joining Deloitte, he was a director at Gartner Consulting.

The talk should raise some interesting questions.  How will these trends and predictions affect your business? Or yourself as an individual? What effect will they have on your business models, or your regulatory framework?

Come along to Bristol & Bath Science Park to find out, as well as for early morning networking, learning and a free Brekkie, courtesy of Deloitte.
